Progressive nu-metal band “Axis Motion” performed on Moscow’s mathcore scene in mid 2000s.
This genre emphasize complex and fluctuant rhythms through the use of irregular time signatures, polymeters, syncopations and tempo changes and a style of the website can be so called ‘Algebra grunge’.
Website
- The style of the website is quite old by today's standards, but I'm still proud of what we achieved back then.
- The website was made entirely on Flash and was heavily animated using Flex components and rich media.
- We had a lot of fun exploring and testing original ideas during the development. An external XML data structure and a file control system has been created to maintain photo gallery, news and lyrics pages.
- An embedded jukebox music player allowed visitors to listen to selected audio tracks while browsing.
